Scottish Education Awards 2007 by Kelvin

The Award Ceremony
On Friday the 15th of June six lucky children got the chance to go to an award ceremony in the City Halls in Glasgow. The feeling was amazing. We were nominated as one of the top three schools in Scotland for both ICT and the International award. When Sally Magnusson announced that Woodhill Primary had won the International Award, I felt brilliant!

After a brief video clip about the blogging we do in school we went to collect our award and were all very excited. We went to get our picture taken and found out that we had actually won £1000 for the school. Sadly, we did not win the ICT award but we still had a successful feeling in ourselves as we were runners up.

When we went to eat our lunch I had a feeling that it would be absolutely delicious and I was right. Afterwards we went back to school we told everybody what a wonderful time we had.
